    Account data: login identifiers, hashed passwords, preferences, activity logs.

    Application data: CV/resumé, cover letter, work history, education, skills, references, salary expectations, availability, portfolio links.

    Documents: national ID/passport, work permits/visas, certificates/diplomas, recommendations—only where relevant and lawful.

    Communications: messages and scheduling information; interview notes where applicable.

    Device & usage: IP, device/browser type, pages viewed, timestamps, referrers; basic cookies/analytics (see §10).

    Primarily from you. We may also receive information from referees you nominate, public sources you share (e.g., LinkedIn), and verification/background providers where lawful.

    5) Sharing your data

    We share personal data with:

    • Employers/clients you apply to or explicitly consent to engage with.
    • Processors/service providers under contract, including (examples):
      • Hosting & infrastructure (e.g., Vercel and underlying cloud/CDN)
      • Email/SMS (e.g., SendGrid/Twilio or equivalent)
      • Analytics/monitoring (e.g., Plausible/Matomo)
      • Document/ID verification (if used)
      • Storage/CDN & backups (e.g., AWS/GCP)
    • Professional advisors and public authorities where required by law or to protect rights.

    We do not sell personal data.

    6) International transfers

    If data is transferred outside the EEA/UK/Switzerland, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and, where necessary, additional measures. You can request copies of relevant safeguards.

    7) Retention

    • Applications: retained for the recruitment process and 12 months afterwards to address queries or legal claims.
    • Talent pool (opt-in): retained up to 24 months or until consent is withdrawn.
    • Account & security logs: retained while your account is active and for up to 12 months afterwards for security/audit.

    We may retain limited data longer if required by law.

    8) Your rights

    You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing).

    9) Children

    The Service is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

    10) Cookies & tracking

    We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and security. With your consent, we may use analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage and improve the Service.

    A cookie banner will let you accept/reject non-essential cookies and revisit Cookie Settings at any time.

    Browser settings also allow you to manage cookies.

    We do not use targeted advertising cookies.

    11) Automated decision-making

    We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing. If this changes, we will notify you and explain your rights.

    12) Security

    We apply technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, least privilege, backups, monitoring). No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

    13) When we act as a processor for clients

    For some services we process data on behalf of employer clients. In that case, we act as their processor under a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with them, and their privacy notice applies to the candidate data we process for that client.
